Maria's Story: From Dream to Reality
Driven by her passion for helping others and achieving economic independence, Maria completed the Small Business class in 2019 and graduated from the Home Health Aide program in 2020. After working as a caregiver in her community, she continued to grow professionally as a childcare teacher for Encuentro. In 2023, she completed the Digital Skills class, building the confidence and skills to navigate technology, access college resources, and pursue higher education. Today, Maria is thriving as a Pre-K teacher while managing her online college courses in preparation for a Child Development Certificate.
